Welcome to our School

St. Peter & St. Paul C.E. V.C. Primary School Carbrooke is a rural primary school for children aged 4+ to 11.  It serves the parish of Carbrooke, which includes the area around the school and the houses on the former R.A.F. base.

The school was founded in 1846 and celebrated its 150th birthday in 1996.  It is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School and has close links with the parish church. The original part of the school is the Victorian flint building accommodating a classroom, the library and a small computer suite.  A small extension built in the 1970's is used as the staff room.  In 1994 indoor toilets and the Reception classroom were built.  A major building programme was completed in 1999 and provides three permanent classrooms, offices, toilets and activity hall.

The main entrance to the school is in the new extension.  On arrival, visitors are asked to report to the school office and sign the visitors' book.
