About our School
Our website aims to introduce our school to you; it tells you all about our values, who works in our school, how we are organised, what we teach in the curriculum and what we do within the community.
Our main aim is to ensure that our children want to become learners by making learning in our school fun. We aim to teach your child the values of tolerance, caring and being supportive to one another. We believe in using the language of choice, actively encouraging your child to make the right choices a skill that we hope they will take with them into adult life.
We believe that if your child is to become a lifelong learner than there has to be a partnership between parents/carers, children and ourselves. With everyone working together your child can achieve all they wish.
We always value the support of parents and carers. We have a Friends of the School Association to which everyone is a member. We welcome help in the classrooms if you are able to support us.
We have an open school. We actively encourage parents and carers to come in and talk to us if there are any problems with children.
I am sure that you would agree that everyone wants their child to enjoy their life at school, by working together in partnership we can make sure that the children do.
We are committed to making the village school a vital and dynamic part of the local community, encouraging local people to contribute their expertise towards the children’s experiences. The children are fully encouraged to participate in community events.

- Develop a caring and friendly school environment in which each child and adult is valued and learns to value others.
- Maintain close and positive links with all of the schools in the Wayland cluster.
- Work creatively to inspire each child to develop every aspect of their character.
